About Clémande Burgevin Blachman

Clémande’s unique sense of beauty, design, and style has been largely informed by her unusual upbringing. Growing up traveling with her antique dealer parents between rural France, Paris, and the mediterranean island of Ibiza, Clémande’s life experience oscillated between nonchalance and the insouciant attitude of an itinerant traveler’s life, the bourgeois bohemian flair of the big city, and the strict elegance of catholic boarding schools.

After high school Clémande first studied comparative literature at the Sorbonne in Paris, where Nobel Laureate Elie Wiesel tutored her. She also found the time to open her eponymous design gallery, still operational to this day, and to launch a successful handbag.
